FSC Asia-Pacific joined the Philippine Forestry Youth Summit 2026 (PFYS 2026), held on 21–23 March at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Organised by the Association of Filipino Forestry Students — UPLB (AFFS-UPLB), an International Forestry Students' Association (IFSA) local community, the three-day summit gathered forestry students to discuss sustainable forest management, green economies, and responsible supply chains under the theme "YABONG: Empowering Philippine Forests as Engines of a Green and Inclusive Economy."

FSC and IFSA share a partnership agreement to support and nurture the next generation of forestry professionals. Neha Simlai, Head of Market Development, represented FSC Asia-Pacific at the summit's Filipino Forestry Students' Symposium, building dialogue with young forestry professionals on responsible supply chains and sustainable production and consumption — SDG 12.

"Youth engagement is vital for driving both responsible demand and sustainable supply chains in the Asia-Pacific region. Meaningful change starts with us. I'm happy to represent FSC's work as we partner with like-minded organisations to empower the next generation to lead in shaping resilient and responsible supply chains," said Simlai.
