Effective May 2024, Ms. Wang Qinghua will officially assume the role of Executive Director for FSC China.
Since joining the FSC China office in 2013 as Director of Operations, Wang Qinghua has also served as Acting Executive Director since February 2023. She brings more than two decades of experience with international organizations across various sectors including poverty alleviation, education, health, and environmental protection. Her comprehensive background in organizational transformation, capacity building, project management, and compliance exceptionally equips her to enhance partnerships with governmental entities, business leaders, and societal stakeholders, significantly advancing the growth of FSC’s leading sustainable forestry initiatives in China.
Cindy Cheng, Regional Director for FSC Asia-Pacific, has expressed strong support and complete confidence in Qinghua’s recent appointment. She commented, "Qinghua's elevation to this crucial role fills me with great enthusiasm. Her exceptional professionalism and strategic leadership are vital for propelling FSC China forward.
