PT Kirana Permata, a subsidiary of PT Kirana Megatara Tbk, has been granted the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certifications, marking a significant step for Indonesia's rubber industry. These certifications distinguish PT Kirana Permata as the first rubber factory (CoC) and the second rubber plantation (FM/CoC) in the nation to meet FSC's stringent standards for sustainable and responsible management.

The certification journey began in 2022, led by Control Union, and reached a successful conclusion in March 2023. The process certified 945 hectares of smallholder rubber plantations and the company's processing facility under FSC's rigorous environmental and social criteria.

An official ceremony on October 16, 2023, in Jakarta, celebrated this milestone. It was attended by Hartono Prabowo, Technical Director of FSC Indonesia, Jurriaan Boer from Control Union Indonesia, and Martinus S. Sinarya, President Director of PT Kirana Megatara Tbk, alongside their Board of Directors.

PT Kirana Permata's recent FSC certification places them at the forefront of sustainable rubber production, reinforcing the company's role as a champion of responsible environmental stewardship within the industry.
