The event featured impactful speeches from key figures, including an address by Im Sang-Seop, Deputy Director of the Korea Forest Service, and a keynote speech by Moon Kuk-Hyun, Chairman of the New Paradigm Institute. The presence of FSC International's General Director, Kim Carstensen, provided a global perspective to the Forum.
With all 140 seats reserved well in advance, the forum explored crucial topics such as sustainable forest management and FSC's strategic significance in environmentally conscious markets. Participants represented diverse sectors, including forestry, consumer brands, government, NGOs, and textiles.

Highlighting the occasion were compelling presentations by FSC Korea Member and Ambassador Tyler Josef Rasch and the Dewsisters, influential creators boasting 6.4 million followers. They shared invaluable insights into communication strategies tailored for conveying environmental messages to the Z generation. The forum concluded with a spirited panel discussion on responsible forest purchases, featuring impassioned debates among ESG executives from various industries.
A notable moment occurred with the unveiling of the Fashion Forever Green Pact, a visionary initiative aiming to enhance sustainability in the fashion industry. This project pledged to introduce FSC-certified fabrics, including rayon, modal, and lyocell, to the market by 2025.
The FSC Korea Business Forum not only garnered considerable attention but also underscored the heightened interest in FSC among Korean companies. It emphasized the anticipation for businesses not only to recognise but also champion the value of forests on a global scale.
