The FSC team made a significant impact during their participation, focusing on the theme "ESG will Shape the Industry and How to Tackle Climate Action." Throughout the two-day event, they actively engaged in discussions and emphasized the importance of ESG disclosure in the Pulp and Paper industry, which garnered immense interest from the attendees.
One of the highlights was Devendra's role as a moderator for a panel discussion titled "Forestry, Pulp & Paper—Our Challenges and Opportunities Towards a Green Future." Cindy delivered the closing address of the event, focusing on "Advancing Sustainable Paper Production: Consumer Confidence and FSC Certification." Her presentation highlighted the FSC's crucial role in ensuring responsible forest management while addressing consumer concerns. She showcased future-proof solutions within the sector and examined their relevance in the context of developing policy frameworks. Additionally, Cindy underscored the benefits of sourcing paper from FSC-certified forests, emphasizing the certification process and criteria.
