Taiwan’s Pingtung Forestry District certified

In late September, the Taiwan Forestry Bureau joined Yong-Zai Forestry Co., Ltd (FSC™C125577) as their new Group certification member and celebrated the addition of 8,695 hectares to their certified forest area in the Pingtung Forest District, located in the far south of the island.

FSC’s Asia Pacific Interim Regional Director, Jayco Fung, witnessed the certification and joined in the celebrations alongside the Director General of the Taiwan Forestry Bureau, Mr Lin Hwa-Ching. Not only did they celebrate their certification, the group also raised a glass to FSC’s 25th anniversary and FSC Friday, an annual global celebration of the world’s forests and responsible forestry.
