Minamisanriku, a town in northeastern Japan that was essentially destroyed during the Great East Japan Earthquake of 11 March 2011, has just made history for more positive reasons: the town is now home to Japan’s first full-project FSC-certified new detached house: the “Minamisanriku Cedar House”. 

On 19 May, FSC Indonesia held a Youth Talk with Roundtable Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and the Rainforest Alliance (RA).

FSC and its accreditation body Assurance Services International (ASI) have have gathered and are now analyzing data around the oak flooring transaction verification they conducted in 2019.
